DeSantis also announced Palm Beach County will be included in the Phase One reopening as of today, while Miami-Dade and Broward Counties are still excluded. According to DeSantis, the inclusion is as a result of the decline in the county’s rate of positive COVID-19 cases, from about 18% two weeks ago, to 9.3% on Friday. Palm Beach County will join 64 other Florida counties where the restrictions on restaurants, retailers, elective surgery and routine dental care have been lifted. The Palm Beach County Commission has also agreed to reopen county beaches on May 18. As of today, May 11, Florida’s nail and hair salons and barbershops can resume operations under the governor’s phase one plan of reopening the state. Governor Ron DeSantis announced last week that the aforementioned facilities will be allowed to reopen “with enhanced safety protocols”. The protocols include the wearing of masks by all employees, a ban on group appointments and the removal of unnecessary items that are frequently touched, like magazines and newspapers. In the meantime, Jamaican Ambassador to the United States, Audrey Marks announced that Jamaican nationals stuck in the U.S. will begin returning to the island this week. Under the island’s re-entry program, the first two flights will return nationals that have been stuck in the country for over a month. Marks said that priority was given to the most urgent cases. As Jamaica begins to flatten the curve, there will be an increase in the number of returnees to the island in coming weeks. Over the past three days, less than 30 COVID-19 cases have been reported on the island, representing a massive decline in the rate of daily increase when compared to April. In Caribbean News, The government of Trinidad and Tobago has announced a phased re-opening of the country. Prime Minister Keith Rowley said that under the first phase of the re-opening exercise, from May 12-23, food establishments will be allowed to open, but there would be no in-house dining and no gatherings of more than five people. Rowley said that while the government is reopening the economy in stages, the island’s borders would remain closed at least until June. As of May 10, Trinidad had 116 COVID-19 cases including eight deaths. Today’s newscast is brought to you by the Florida Department of Health; Now for the news in the detail To help stop the spread of COVID-19, The Florida Department of Health in Broward County reminds everyone to practice social distancing, wash your hands often with soap and water and cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing.
After a slight pause, the Tipster Challenge is back with a bang this week for the Flat Season. However, there is a slight twist for the competition, which continues to be sponsored by Betting Gods.Starting today at Chester, our experts will still be submitting tips for each race at a chosen Wednesday meet. Yet they will also be asked to confirm a ‘Nap of the Day’, which scores double points.Joining bettingexpert’s Stephen Harris at Chester is Alex Donohue. Formerly the PR Manager at Ladbrokes, Donohue has joined the LADbible Group by taking up the position of Brand Partnerships Manager within the company’s ODDSbible division. The Jump Season Tipster Challenge for 2016/17 was won by AppBet’s Sarah Shannon, with Betway’s Alan Alger second and Easyodds’ Jacob Johns coming in third place.____________________________________1:50bettingexpert: Requinto DawnHas posted two useful efforts and is better drawn than his serious rival on form.ODDSbible: Big Time MaybeCrack Chester jockey and trainer duo can land this race despite the wide draw. Prepared to take a chance at draw-affected price on the basis Kingscote bounces out of the wide gate and remains handy.____________________________________2:25bettingexpert: Enable (Nap of the Day)John Gosden’s 3yo shaped well when third to a well backed stablemate on her seasonal debut (run checked when cruising and not given a hard time by any means). She is open to improvement after just two career starts and now has Dettori taking over in the saddle.ODDSbible: EnableO’Brien can’t win them all (he probably can) so hoping Enable strikes for another set of connections in great form. The fact that Gosden pitches her for this race despite bare form on offer may be a tip.____________________________________3:00bettingexpert: ConfessionalShaped well in defeat a few times last season and has loads of early pace to aim at in the closing stages (both stalls 1 and 2 confirmed trailblazers).ODDSbible: TaexaliAlways enjoy seeing these colours pop up on courses up and down the country and it looks like Thistle Bloodstock may have found a winnable race on this occasion if the horse can find a little bit from a good draw.____________________________________3:35bettingexpert: MontalyLost his form but returns here on a handy mark, will love the ground/extreme test of stamina at Chester and has a great draw in two to work from.ODDSbible: Fun MacA unique race and a spectacle I’ve always enjoyed watching but not necessarily betting on over the years. Plenty of runners which would be good stories and from a sporting perspective I’d love to see Golden Spear win, but I think there could be a few hard luck tales so I’ll take a chance on Fun Mac staying on from the back at a big price.____________________________________4:05bettingexpert: Here And NowHas looked promising on all three starts and should get a good early position from stall one.ODDSbible: Stradivarius (Nap of the Day)Wins with ease en route to bigger and better things at Ascot. Simple!____________________________________4:35bettingexpert: Never SurrenderShould appreciate fast ground at this unique Chester track if Jamie Spencer can navigate a clear passage.ODDSbible: Bristol MissileThis race could turn out to be a good maiden and there are plenty of interesting runners, but I’ll side with Richard Hannon’s expensive and well-bred runner on the basis that the level of improvement expected and hoped for would be enough to win today.____________________________________5:05bettingexpert: Zapper CassHas joined an astute small yard and looks overpriced from a good draw if ready to go after five months on the sidelines.ODDSbible: Gabrial The TigerGood course form which counts for plenty round here and it wouldn’t be Chester without a winner for Dr Marwan. Useful claimer booked and likely to be a very fair price.____________________________________ Betway and Dafabet grow La Liga sponsorship portfolios August 14, 2020 Submit StumbleUpon Related Articles Share ESI Digital – No Drama Please… Esports growth should be treated as business as usual August 20, 2020 Share Real Betis selects Betway as its official shirt sponsor August 10, 2020

Yesterday’s passing of the ‘EU Withdrawal Bill’ by the House of Commons may represent the clearing of a major Brexit hurdle for PM Theresa May, however, Betfair Politics informs that the UK public remain sceptical of the country leaving the European Union by the target deadline of 29 March 2019.The Bill which aims to repeal a number of provisions set by the ‘1972 European Communities Act’, which saw the UK enter the European Community, will now be further scrutinised by select committees. The delicate issue of the Withdrawal Bill’s exit provisions and potential amendments has caused rifts in both the Conservative and Labour camps, with UK media detailing that both PM Theresa May and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn will face likely skirmishes in the coming future.Updating its Brexit markets, Betfair Politics has detailed that its punters expect the UK not to exit the EU by the deadline of March 29th 2019, backing odds of 4/7 on the Betfair Exchange, representing a 63% chance that the UK will still be part of the EU when the target deadline comes and goes.Katie Baylis,Katie Baylis, Betfair Spokesperson, commented on Brexit markets: “While the House of Commons voted in favour of the EU Withdrawal Bill, punters are still sceptical that Britain will have Brexited by the initial deadline of March the 29th 2019.“Betfair Exchange currently has odds of 4/7 that it won’t happen by that date – that’s a 63% chance that we will still be a part of the EU after the date passes. Back in April shortly after Article 50 was triggered, it was odds-on that Britain would make the target date, but as negotiations have hit sticking points the odds have steadily drifted.“We’ve even seen odds on Brexit not to happen before 2022 shorten dramatically and that eventuality has been backed at odds-on recently and is now 6/4. It’s actually seen as more likely by punters that Theresa May will leave her post as Prime Minister before the UK leaves the EU with odds of that happening currently at 1/2.” Flutter moves to refine merger benefits against 2020 trading realities August 27, 2020 Share Submit ‘Deal maker’ Rafi Ashkenazi ends Flutter tenure August 27, 2020 Share Related Articles Bookies Corner: Trump Presidency sinks as US 2020 enters its 100 day countdown July 29, 2020 StumbleUpon
