Catskill Chill Adds New Super Jams And Musical Tributes To Stacked 2016 Lineup

first_imgWith just two months to go, Catskill Chill just made an incredible artist announcement for their 2016 festival. Coming up between September 23-25 in Lakewood, PA, the festival will see performances from Mike Gordon, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Greensky Bluegrass, Electron and so many more. The new announcement only adds some shining new sets to a great lineup.Today, the festival has revealed that not only will Lettuce perform, but a number of their members will join forces for Bitches Bloom: A Tribute To Miles Davis. Led by Eric “Benny” Bloom, the lineup will include Adam Deitch, Ryan Zoidis, Nigel Hall, Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff, Erick “Jesus” Coomes, and Borahm Lee. Not only that, but the new Electric Beethoven band will make their first ever appearance, as they’re included on the new announcement as well. Electric Beethoven is the brainchild of bassist Reed Mathis (Tea Leaf Green, Billy & The Kids), and assorted videos have teased lineup and musical contributions over the past few weeks. The group was announced initially on Jam Cruise, and their first performance now has a full lineup, with Jay Lane (Primus, Ratdog), Todd Stoops (RAQ), Cochrane McMillan (Tea Leaf Green), and Clay Welch. Considering that Mike Gordon was featured in a teaser recording, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for a sit in.The festival has also added the Funky Dawgz Brass Band, rounding out this announcement with an upbeat brass celebration.
